I know there will be people here that will bash, comes with the territory of posting personal stuff. I just can't help it though.

About 20 minutes ago I got a knock on my door. I wasn't expecting anyone and all of my friends know not to stop by if they hadn't called ahead first. I went to the door and peeked through the peep hole and saw two teenagers. I immediately called for my son as I assumed it was for him. I went back to doing the dishes. My son answered and came back and said there was a lady with the kids and they were asking for me. Confused and let's face it, a little irritated as I look like cr*ap - I'm in my sweats and my hair is a mess, I go to the door and step outside.

This woman kept staring at me and I looked to her, the two teenagers and a man and asked who they were. It turns out it was my little sister. I haven't seen her in about, geez, 1994 to now is about...what? 16 years or so? She gave me a quick hug and kept staring at me. Her eyes started to well up and I just had it. I told her to get the heII away from me and I wasn't interested in her drama. She just opened her mouth and said, "I'm not here for any drama" - oh really? 16 years and no phone call? Just showing up on my door step with kids in tow? Really, what did she expect? Why not leave the kids in the car and just speak with me first before putting me on display like that? I apologized to her kids and just told her to leave and I wasn't interested. I then walked back into the house.

My son was kind of surprised by my reaction. I guess that makes sense. He was in my tummy the last time I saw her and what she said and did to me back then. He's a softy, and for that I'm grateful, but I just don't want the drama with her. Ugh. I'm most irritated by the fact that she just showed up and didn't give the courtesy of a call. I'm irritated that she decided she wanted to make amends and didn't check with me first. Why do people do that? Why put me out, irritate my day just so she could work out some karma? Argh!
