Have any of you ever clicked on ads selling stuff on FB? I stupidly did and ordered only to find out it's a bogus site but not before they took my money. Don't ever order anything from a FB ad! Have actually fallen for this a couple times but no more.

You're not alone. I fell for that gimmick and was not only billed $100 by the seller, but a sister-company as well. $200 slam on my account.
Recovered the unauthorized second charge of $100 with the help of my bank and asked for a refund from the initial seller.
In total took 6 weeks to get my $$ back. Never again.

Yikes! That's a lot of money. Fortunately the last time it happened Paypal refunded my money and am in the process again.

I ordered off of FB twice.
One time was WONDERFUL! It was for a rechargeable scrubber by Clorox. Am thrilled with it. Works well and comes in handy so often. No problems with shipping or charging to my account.
The other time. Oh My! They said they had trouble with my address. My Post Office is for 2 towns. No other company has had trouble if you only use one town's name - except this company. So I revised my address to include both town's name. Well they sent one item out to the address with the 2 names. And then they sent one item out to my address in the United Kingdom.
The order form clearly states United States and Canadian orders only. So have no idea why the company would ship it to the United Kingdom. It was around Christmas so the item sat in the United Kingdom for about 2 months. I filed a complaint with my credit card company and made copies of tracking information. I was refunded for the item that went to United Kingdom. And a few weeks ago, the United Kingdom item showed up. Now I am not sure if I am going to be charged for the item.
It was for an ice scrapper that didn't work for me.

You took the words right outta my mouth!
ETA: The phrase 'once bitten, twice shy' also comes to my mind.

@KKJ. I can't help but wonder why you fell for that twice? You know that old saying? Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me.
Well, the first was a company selling natural skincare--actually it was a lady making it & selling herself. I can't complain too much there as she did communicate with me & eventually refunded my money. She kept saying she was having probs with a supplier & couldn't get stuff in for her products. So am thinking why do you have a website selling stuff if you don't have what you need to make & ship it? This latest was a true scam & am embarrassed to admit selling TP. I jumped on it and as soon as I paid the bogus website was down and gone is my money. So ladies, please ignore all those ads on FB selling TP--they are SCAMS!

You are smarter than the rest of us--lol. I get on now & then but not a lot. Good grief, some women I know are on there and post 24/7--I don't get that. And even before all this home isolation.
