Oh, dear, I almost forgot--it's National D.E.A.R. Day!

April 12th: Drop Everything And Read Day! {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} This date was chosen in honor of Beverly Cleary's birthday. If you ever get the chance, Beverly Cleary wrote a couple of lovely memoirs which I thoroughly enjoyed: "A Girl from Yamhill" covers her younger years, I think through high school; and "My Own Two Feet," which covers her years during college and into adulthood.

At any rate, I love the idea of a day when we should drop everything and read!!
