Can anyone suggest replacement office chair wheels that will work/roll easily on a carpeted floor.  Need to know the brand and where they can be purchased.  AMZ has many and selecting a brand is difficult.

@coffee drinker   You will be better off getting a "chair mat."  Amazon has a few.  Check them out.

Totally agree with @Mz iMac  that you likely need a chairmat instead of new wheels. Give the wheels a quick shot of WD 40 and see if that improves the glide.

If you invest in a chair mat you get what you pay for. I bought a cheap plastic mat with teeth and it was worse than carpet.

As @Mz iMac  suggests, use a chair mat....otherwise you will RUIN your carpet by constant "rolling" on it

Totally agree. All wheels that move manually are more dependent on the surface on which they move.  @coffee drinker, forget the wheels and get get a less roll resistant surface.

I am guessing you like your chair, so measure how much area you need to move, and buy a harder less roll resistant surface.
