I really like Matthew Perry and wanted to like this but I thought it was too much like the original.

I finally watched on In Demand. Its OK. I tend to compare these remakes with the originals (which cant be beat IMO).

I wanted NOT to like it because I LOVED the original, but I was actually drawn in, and found myself laughing out loud, so I'm definitely going to give it a chance......

I wanted to like it like it but it fell short. Yes the original was a classic but it should have potential. Thomas Lennon was a good Felix Unger but need more originality. Hopefully, they can add new quirks.

Matthew Perry was doing Chandler impersonating Oscar Madison. Not good. But since he is a producer or developed the series, he is gonna be in it. It seemed force and unfunny. I wish there was another cast as Oscar.

Don't think it's gonna make it. I wish they would show the reruns.

It might be pretty hard for MP to shake off the Chandler image. I admit that while I was watching the pilot program, I kept expecting him to say something like, "...could you BE more annoying with your..." {#emotions_dlg.laugh} I also kept expecting to see "Monica" show up.

On 2/19/2015 I am still oxox said:

The show was pretty bad it was a rehash of the original show which was 100% better

That was my impression....wanted to turn the channel but H wanted to give it somewhat of a chance. We flipped between it and re-runs of Mike/Molly show!
