Hi to you @MamaWick and Papawick.

Didn't mean to get you involved by things I said in my post. I really didn't think the word luck was going to create the response I received from my post.

When things go well for an individual I prefer giving them credit for whatever it is that they achieved. Never was the type of person to say, you were lucky. I realize luck plays a role in some good things, and bad things, in people's lives.

Hope all is going well for you, and Papawick has had no setbacks. Best wishes from myself and Cindy.

@hckynutjohn  Hi John....we are doing quite well with absolutely no setbacks for PapaWick.   In January, it will be 3 years and we have every reason to believe he will again be cancer-free at that checkup.

We send our best to you and Cindy!

I just read the increase for 2023 will be 8.7% That is what I was expecting. Medicare premium will go down to $164.10.

I am sure it will benefit the SS too.  It will take some people at the higher rate but lose benefits of the very low income Medicaid.

Whine or complain about receiving an increase in SS and decrease in premiums.  Not me. We are very comfortable in retirement and every bit helps. Very happy with this.

Indeed.  For those who don't want what's coming to them, they should return it.  If it's not enough, then well it's better than nothing.  There were some years that people didn't get a dime.
