@Sooner  The subject was unfounded assumptions, not judgements, not preferences, not sensory perceptions for survival.

I'm not interested in arguing with you.

 

If I see a guest with wet shoes entering the front door of my house, I won't jump to the conclusion or assumption that it's raining out until I see that the guest's umbrella is wet, that they were wearing a raincoat, that there was the sound of rain while the door was open, etc. I'd make an educated guess based on facts, sufficient facts.

 

Some people might make unusual assumptions without any further facts or basis that a person with wet shoes was wading in a fountain, was dancing in a car wash, or testing their shoes in an aquarium to see if they're waterproof, etc.

 

It is amazing how many people make unfounded assumptions with no facts or basis.

But ... not everyone does that.
