The latest info this morning was that there was a loud noise that the cop heard before he shot her.  I don't know, but I can't imagine any justification for shooting a lovely woman standing there in her PJ's after she has called because she thought she heard someone being assaulted outside her home. This has already been termed a murder, and that cop had already had several complaints lodged against him.  A woman can't even call for help.

@2blonde Yes, I posted that info on the community forum tast night.

This was a "rookie" cop - that is, inexperienced.  And coming from a different country/culture altogether.  Apparently that was not a good mix.

Wonder what the partner had to say about the shooting.

I watch Live pd and can't recall ever seeing a cop pull his/her gun.  Taser yes, gun no.  Seems to me they don't run around with guns drawn.

@Snoopp  You can find it easily by Googling and it's also  on the Community Forum thread.

It sounds like the police heard the loud sound while they were in the car THEN the victim approached the car.  Two fairly inexperienced cops paired together.

@Snoopp  Yes about the two inexperienced cops, yet one was shocked when the other pulled the trigger, so they both weren't having the same reaction about what was going down.
