This would be for someone with an addiction to junk type of foods... so much cake, cookies and such.... processed unhealthy food. I see they seem to focus on pizza and spaghetti etc.... once you go off of the program, you are still hooked on junk food? Makes NO sense to me......

Eating itty-bitty bad-tasting cookies would just set me off to bake a batch of real cookies.

I think you lose weight because it looks so un-appetizing.

I've never used it or any other weight-loss product, but I guess it's so people aren't feeling "deprived" and like they're on a diet. If they were only eating fish and vegetables, they may not stick to it.

It might be easier to stick with if you were payed MILLIONS$$$$$ like Marie Osmond.

It must work for some people -- people who have undiscerning taste buds. Really, that's the only thing that makes sense.

I really doubt she ever did.

I know a few people who lost a lot of weight on this program. Unfortunately, as soon as they went back to eating regular foods, they put all the weight back on. But that could happen with any program. You have to be willing to make a lifestyle change or forget it.

Nothing replaces healthy food & exercise.

That said, my husband saw a couple from the neighborhood, they had the weight loss surgery maybe 5-7 years ago . . . and said they were back big as ever. Very sad. Especially for their children, one daughter is my daughters age and other is a year or two younger than my son. They too had weight issues over the years growing up and they both seem to work very, very hard at maintaining a healthy weight despite their environment . . . and running miles & miles around the neighborhood.
