If you ever want to feel humble just go visit a nursing home..At first it hurts to see the people
who I have known from our town look so tired and just worn out.. I watched the judge who had sent us to the orphanage so many decades ago get so weak and pass on. After the shock you really began to see the people behind those little worn bodies..
My mil can ride around in her scooter and pass the time of day. There are those there who don't know where they are. Those who are so bent over and just set and hold a doll all day.. the ones who sing or holler and the ones that you can look in their eyes and see the spark fulfilled life..
The place is very nice , it scares me. It reminds of where we all will be in a short period of time..
