Just a thought. Let's play Devil's advocate. Eight days from now this nurse develops a fever, and is diagnosed with this disease. I wonder if she'd still be so upset she was quarantined? I wonder how much sympathy she'll receive then?
Croemer I don't get it either.

ETA: So she can test the legality of this ad hoc quarantine enforced by the governors. And can perhaps get the US government to enforce its constitution.
The same people who don't believe in global warming and are just humming along calmly, here of four people sick in the USA and go into "off with her head" mode.
It is exactly like the early AIDS people, of whom I know something.
Oh, so now we are going to bring up global warming. Let's see other straw men: Flu, this new enterovirus, hysteria, frenzy, panic.
The gov't has the right to quarantine people who may be carriers of deadly disease.

It is exactly like the early AIDS people were treated, a matter I remember well because I had just had a large transfusion right when it was announced that AIDS had infiltrated the blood supply.
pffft I happened to be proactive when it comes to climate change. You are off base.

TY Lily!
And for those who hope she brings this lawsuit...we better be prepared for Ebola to possibly flourish on our shores because... this is the 3rd medical personal who has not acted cautiously since they had a connection to Ebola patients.

This is what "erring on the side of caution" is all about. Protecting the public. Preventing a catastrophe.

Really...the two are not even related.

the last straw was the doctor who didn't have the decency to self quarantine. The governors' hands were forced here.
