I ordered a dress from HSN on the 31st of March and received it in the mail today.

Now I admit I do live very close to HSN - about 100 miles away. However, even when we are at our camp near  Pitts. which is just a couple hundred miles from QVC I do not receive items in 4 days - heck they haven't even shipped in 4 days - let alone arrived.

I ordered a ring from the Q on Fri, Mar 31st and tracking shows it will be at my doorstep tomorrow, Wednesday, Apr 5th. That's just a little over 4 days. lol ~ I'm happy!

Some things ship faster, others take longer.  I think all of the big shopping channels now have multiple warehouses.  As you say, it depends on how close you are to the point of origin and how efficient the shipping operation is.

@SuesCat I ordered something from QVC that showed on tracking it was delivered to my mailbox - it was not. The next day it showed on tracking that it had gone to a different post office - then it went to Indiana  and was delivered to someone else. Then I got an e mail from QVC to tell me that they could not replace the item because it was no longer in stock so they gave me a credit - but only after multiple phone calls to customer service  trying to figure out what happened. It was jewelry - I hope the lady who got it for free enjoyed it while QVC held up my money for almost a month.

@Kachina624 True enough as to what the item is and how far it has to travel. My ring had about a 700 mile trip. It went through a USP service, then transferred to USPS. Tonight it is about a 20 minute drive away from me, just up the road in the same state. Wish me luck!

@151949 'Sorry to hear about your experience with the jewelry. I guess i've been lucky over the last 30 yrs w/ the Q. 'Hopefully i'll be sporting my latest trinket tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Enjoy your new dress!

I live in MA and I almost always receive my QVC packages in 3-4 days.  Whenever there was a delay, it was always UPS's fault.  Lately everything has been coming by FEDEX or US Mail, so I am a happy camper.

       Also something things ship directly from the manufacturer and that can a add a couple of days.

@SuesCat  Definitely wish you luck getting your ring.  Last week I got a Linea necklace the same way.  After it got in my area, the post office fiddled around with it 3 days until they finally delivered it.  I was about fit to be tied.   You know how it is when you really, really want something in your hand.

HSN has it hands down over Q any day of the week. They don't honor their email discounts when U try to use them, but, stuff is processed in one day or mid day the 2nd day. They either don't sell as much or have more help

Update:  My ring did indeed arrive today (Wed, Apr 5). I'm beyond thrilled with it! 'Wishing everyone Good Luck with their purchases going forward!
