Now on Dish Network, QVC in HD!

Just noticed it this afternoon....QVC is now in HD on Dish (I'm in NYC). It's about time!!

HD will come in handy, especially when they do those shows where they shave the dead skin off their feet..........

@YorkieonmyPillow, I'm selective...I don't watch those presentations...gross. It's really annoying to watch any station on a smaller flat screen TV that's not aired in HD , so it's a relief not to watch a shrunken screen whenever I tune in to QVC. BTW, I have a Yorkie, too.

We have Spectrum formerly knows as Time Warner and still can't get QVC in HD. Maybe now that Spectrum has purchased TWC, we will finally get it.

@Brooklynny I know it's a bother, but when a station is broadcast so it doesn't fill my screen, I just change the aspect ratio on my TV. I have 3 TV's and even my 10-year-old flat screen has that option on the remote.

I'm in Ohio and have TWC (now Spectrum) and we've had QVC in HD for years. We get HSN, QVC and Evine in high-def. Q2 is not in HD.

The only change since Spectrum took over is they made a mess of how we use the remote and bring up the guide and DVRd shows. LOL

Oh my gosh--what a difference this makes! This has been one of the big reasons I haven't been watching QVC much for the past few years. The picture was distorted so I couldn't watch it long at a time without getting ill.

Thanks so much for posting this, I doubt I would have noticed for some time. I might buy more things now that I can actually see the presentations.

Wow it is about time! What channel are you guys seeing it on? I thought it was odd we go QVC+ and beauty IQ before HD regular QVC!

@2blonde, oh, I know, thank you. I got so tired of fiddling with the aspect ratio. I also had that intermittent elongated picture problem, so it never really looked right, no matter what ratio I used. QVC2 is still elongated, but I don't watch that very often. I know it's not important, but at least I won't have to futz with the television when watching the regular QVC channel.
