@Witchy Woman I can't even imagine having that kind of loss. I had to put my first boy to sleep 31 years ago at the age of 17 and in 2013, I had to put my little girl who was 15 down. 2 of the worst days of my life and the memories of those days will not go away. My 2 now have kept me going since my husband has been very ill with double pneumonia. My big girl is distraught that her dad is just not paying attention to her like he normally does. Little girl is my source of comfort. I have 5 Christmas trees--small ones--in a cluster. Since there's no ornaments, only lights and bows, they just knock the trees over.

Sounds like you have your hands full

So sorry your husband is ill and I wish a quick recovery. Sickness this time of year is especially hard.

I have one senior boy left -- his brother was the orange tabby. He is a sweet, silly cat and loves to hear his own voice. Although he is diabetic, he still enjoys going outside for a long stroll on sunny days.

As much as I love cats, I'm not sure I'll ever adopt again.

5 trees to keep upright is a lot!

@meallen616 Thank you so much for this. I had to send my beloved little Pom., LuLu to the Rainbow Bridge on 11/26/18. She was almost 17 years old and had her since a pup. She was just the sweetest little girl When I read the card I couldn't stop crying. It was perfect for her. I miss her so much.
