I just called customer service about the Northern Nights sheets. I have had 3 sets of sheets over the last couple of years and the flat sheet starts shredding after about a year. The first 2 sets I had, I thought was a fluke and now this 3rd set started and has now a huge rip in it. Customer service said they had not heard of this happening. I wanted to send the bottom sheet back, but I was told it was over a year since we purchased and not eligible for return. I then spoke with a supervisor and explained I have been very happy with the other Northern Nights products, but after 3 shredded bottom sheets, I wanted their lab to look at it to see why not holding up. I told him my mother said she had sheets for 50 years that are still fine. He said it could be the 440 thread count but would pass on my complaint to the NN folks. He said they should contact me in 2 wks. In the meantime, I told him I would be going to JC Penneys today for new sheets.
