I have wasted more than $85 on junk skin care and costume jewelry over the years, so I guess my decisions have not all been solid either. But this rock in a leather diaper is not coming to my house to lay around.

Sorry for popping this older thread back up - hoping I didn't miss a post about this...

Yes, the rock sold out. Just heard on the news that a doctor from a children's hospital in Wisconsin will send you a rock from the shores of Lake Michigan in exchange for an $85 donation. Furthermore, Nordstrom said they would match donations up to $50K. So far, over 400 people have made donations.

Yes, the Nordstrom rock was ridiculous, but I love this idea that sprung from it.
