I found my discontinued shade of Maybelline Color Jolt at the DOLLAR store. I bought all they had...........

In the world of department store/high end cosmetics, it's not considered that expensive. *shrugs*

Nothing wrong with the price but I wouldn't buy it from television, only in a store after I've seen how the color/shade looked on me.

You sound like me!
One time, I found a favorite discontinued lipstick on EBay ... I bought 20 of them ... all they had. Lasted me for several years.
I'm just about finishing a stash of hair gloss that has been discontinued a few years ago. I'm "auditioning" other glosses for replacement.

Someone would be better off with one tube of $60 lipstick they loved than six $10 lipsticks they didn't like but couldn't stand to throw out.
