My Everyplate box hasn't been delivered. I'm not sure it's fair to request a refund since it isn't their fault, yet I paid for the food and didn't get it. Still considering what do do with that. Amazon deliveries have had delays.

On the other hand, mail came today and yesterday. We had our groceries delivered today (they did amazingly and got an extra large tip). And an Amazon order claims to be out for delivery. I have a nice pathway shoveled out up to the house.

I'm in TN, where it is cold and snowy but not dangerous, and I feel for everyone suffering in TX and other states, but particularly TX. That stuff is mind blowing to me.

@SharkE Here in north Mississippi We have not received mail all week and no garbage pickup.  Chewy says that my dog food delivery will be delayed also.  This brutal winter weather has put into perspective how fortunate we generally are in our normal everyday life.  We also have one grocery store and it too is open from 11 to 2 and has been picked dry, no delivery trucks coming in.  God bless all & stay safe!!!

@SharkE re a previous comment of yours, no we all did not have Internet  and cell service was intermittent. Getting to get back to "normal" whatever that is, will take a heck of a lot of work by all of us.  Many still don't have power and have to melt and boil for water. 40 have died.  Maybe you don't mean to but you come across as insensative.

Re: No mail again today

[ Edited ]

@SharkE   I'm in Dallas. I haven't had mail all week, depite the USPS informed Delivery showing me what's NOT coming. Followed the mailman today as he appeared in our neighborhood for the first time - some people got mail, some (like me) didn't.

I figure the bills and junk mail can wait! I'm happy to have electricity, heat, and water now after almost sitting IN my fireplace to survive a night of -2 degrees.
