Rumors aobut Shakira leaving have been floating around for several weeks....I don't think the official announcement yesterday was suspect....in fact it was officially announced around the internet quite early yesterday.

Me neither. I have said before I think he's average at best. I think he is there because he seems like such a nice guy.

I didn't get to see the show. We were out of town and I set my DVR to record it but we had really bad weather so my DVR recorded 2 hours of local weather. It wasn't available On Demand yet as of yesterday night. I did DVR the results show.

FWIW, DH and I just returned from Nashville. Every bar has an awesome country band in it. There honestly wasn't a bad one in any bar we were in. It made us realize how hard it would be to break into country music. I don't believe Jake would get booked in any of those bars because he's just not good enough.

LD: Jake was better the first few shows before he got sick and his voice started giving out. I do think he may have a future in country music. I mean he's no Blake Shelton but not many are!

REally? I would like to read about this. I didn't know they installed the twitter save just before this show began. If so, it is a completely fraudulent set up.

scottie, even with him being sick and having trouble with his voice, he still sounded very good to me. DH and I are looking forward to buying his CD when it comes out.

milly can you direct me to the site where you read this about the twitter save being installed just hours before this show? I can't find anything on google.
