I don't understand why some people don't have printers. If you do business online, of any kind, then having a printer is essential. You can't blame the companies, who do business with you, for not providing a means to duplicate your documents for you.
I think I'm being sensible here and not out in left field.

I agree! It is so much better for the environment. Nothing irritates me more than unnecessary paper, tissue, and packaging.
Well that is all good if you don't want to return something. My wifi carrier cannot figure out why I lost connection with my printer. So, unfortunately I'm printerless!
Wireless printers are great except for when you really need them. My printer is not wireless b/c of that problem you just stated. @coconut1818
I still use a non-wireless printer also. I would be lost without my printer. I think online invoices are becoming the norm.

You are sensible. 99.9% of my stuff is paperless. I rarely use a printer but when I need one I have it. If you don't have a printer you can go to any FedEx or UPS store and they will print one for you for like $.15

How many things do you actually return though, probably very few as with the majority of people. When you think of how many packages a company like QVC sends out a day that is a huge savings in paper going into the trash.

This is a common occurance. The only time its an issue is on the rare occasion when something has to be returned. Otherwise, I'm relieved to not have excess trash. I could never see where a single small sheet of tissue served any purpose.

I recently received a Sports Savvy shirt with no paperwork. I don't care about no tissue paper, but I was at first annoyed that there was no receipt that lists the item purchased with the amount charged on my credit card.
Then I remembered this. My son works at Wawa. The last few times that I was there, I got no receipt. I was concerned. What if they charged me incorrectly, what if there is something wrong with what I bought and I need to get a refund, what happens if when I get my credit card bill, it has a higher amount on it, etc., I have no proof of anything. Then I realized that this is old-fashioned, outdated. And my son told me that they hardly ever give receipts, only rarely when asked. I said, its old people that ask (I am in that age group), and he said in most cases, yes.

I have a printer! I live in a small town of less than 200 people and the wifi tech cannot figure out why I can't connect anymore. I'm guessing it had something to do with the weather. This is my second printer. Senior citizens find all of this a little more frustrating. My older sister doesn't even know how to use a computer!

I know you have a printer. I wasn't directing my post at you but just making a generalized statement about not having a printer.
If you have a computer then you can connect your printer with a (USB) cable to your computer directly and bypass the wifi. That way you can use your printer.

The last several QVC, Amazon and a couple of other sites I have not received any paper work for several months maybe a year or more.

I haven't made a purchase from either of these shopping networks for a long time, so I do not know. My wife seems to get packages a few times a week. I never look at any of her purchases, so I still do not know.
She is gone now so I can't ask her. I order almost everything from Amazon, and I can't remember them ever sending a shipping or account receipt with any order. If I have a problem I call them and always get it settled very quickly. All I need is the Order number, which is very easy to find under "my orders" on their website.
