@IG, The support team is aware of the problem and has notified their IT folks.
This has been going on for a few days now.
A quick "fix:"
Just click on the word "Notifications" a few times, and the list will appear. Seems to take about 3 clicks on the word for it to work its magic.

@KingstonsMom, it has been happening regularly since the day before Christmas. The notifications do reappear, no rhyme or reason. Mods are aware of it, but TS is short this weekend. I'm sure they will fix it in a day or two. People are commenting in many threads about this, so we know they will address the fix soon. (Enjoy that adorable new puppy!)

Sometimes I see -0- notifications, but if I click on the word, there they are.

Posting a new thread didn't work, nor has clickng on the word multiple times.
I just don't want any posters to think I'm ignoring any 'mentions' they may have made, but at least I can still respond to threads & give hearts!

Thank you! He's such a love bug, our hearts are just bursting!
And so far, no bad habits have emerged, he's a complete gentleman!
Fingers crossed that it stays that way, LOL!

Thank you for your patience. @dooBdooand @MaggieMack are correct - we are aware of the problem and hope to have a resolution within the next few days.
