Re: No More Return Labels?

[ Edited ]

@Tori3569   your post makes total sense for most. I won't drive anymore (because of mobility).  My husband and grands have to return. I am able to get a code thing, and my husband used it. But I can see many who live alone, not having smart phones, knowledge, or printers to do this. I do of know families who use library to use computers.  They woukd have to pay for copy

I can see vendors expense and salary's paid on waste of ink, paper and time placing a return label in each box. That's a lot of paper and ink!!! Also, there are those who return more than they buy. However, they still pay postage.

@FranandZoe @tansy - I live in a rural area and my tiny post office has this capability.  Maybe your postal staff just don't want to print out anything.  I'd send the head of USPS some feedback and ask why they aren't able to do these things.

Sometimes staff just don't want to be bothered to do their jobs.  JMHO.

I agree Q is NO Longer CONVENIENT .  Returns are too troublesome . I have decided to cut back on everything I am not certain of, particularly gifts .  Will only order food and "sure things ."

@seedpie  -  Are there any retailers that send return labels?  I did a lot of online shopping for Christmas and not one retailer sent a label - with the exception of the Q.

I never stopped receiving them from the Q.   I wish they would stop sending them to me.

I think it's QVC's responsibility to send a return label like they have since the beginning.

Don't like using my printer and costly ink for companies.

If a company sends out 1 million packages and 15% are return they have spent time and resources to send out 850,000 return labels that are not needed and thrown away.

It is much more economical and efficient for someone who is returning to get a label.

A company who spends the time and money to send out unneeded return labels and supplies need to account for that in their prices. The more paper and packing sent, the more costly it is to do business.

DH has received a couple of items from Amazon with mailing label on the product, no

box or shipping package. Considering how much Amazon sells it is a good way to cut cost of shipping.

It would be nice if we had the option to request a return label to be included when we order. Then those that want a return label would have one and those that don't wouldn't be bothered with them. That would be convenient from any company.

But with all the other problems that QVC has, I'm sure that will never happen.

@Luvsmyfam.  Go to "returns" under CS and look for use of QR code.  You scan it and the PO or UPS  will make the label.  Quick & easy.
