@seedpie - I've been deleting old emails the past few days and yesterday I came across one from QVC.

It was April 19, 2025, to say that they would no longer be supplying return labels and giving instructions on how to return items.  You don't need a printer.  You scan the QR code on your phone, take the package to the post office (or UPS).  They will scan the code and print out the label free of charge.

I thought it was interesting, as I hadn't remembered them sending this email, but I haven't needed to use the old return label system for ages.  They're trying to streamline things and save waste and I can't fault them for that.  (After all, out of the millions of packages they must send out, how many need that return label?)

My cranky post office clerk said he couldn't do that and directed me to one of those private mail services a few miles away.

JMO, of course.

My eBay business would be non existent without a printer for labels.

And all those recipes I print out and only get to cooking half of them  ha.

@tansy  The teeny town where I used to live the PO there couldn't even print out a receipt.

Same here!  Didn't know (or recall) that you are also an eBay seller.

Are you aware of any other E sellers here?

Re: No More Return Labels?

I hate printing labels! . I don't care if it's Amazon, Nordstrom or QVC.   thank God I don't have many returns, it is work for me. I have printer issues, and I have limited mobility to get to printer. Have to ask husband, grouchy bear.  He growls, "don't order stuff you have to return."  He's a real problem solver that one.lol. Luckily, I order 3-4 items a year from qvc and had to return one as it was way too large. And I downsized my size even more.

I think some Q pkgs come with label, ones from vendors don't. Haven't figured it out.

I thought the C in QVC stood for convenience...what happened to that?

The retail world has moved on.  I haven't gotten a return label from QVC, Talbots, Anthropologie, J Crew, Target, Amazon, etc in years.  It's just a waste of paper and ink to include them in every shipment.

One doesn't need a printer, just a smart phone to show the QR code at the post office or mailing retailer.  If one doesn't have a smart phone, that's a whole other story and unfortunately they need a label sent by mail.

could not live without a printer so this has never been an issue for me.

also glad that they are doing what amazon does and offering the QR code form of returning an item.
