I can't remember who started the thread, but I've probably said previously that I laughed more in one day than I had in weeks, over a silly thread about "I'm in the mood to say something hateful" or something to that effect.  I can't remember who started it, but I was so glad she did!  It turned into a whole long thread about vegetables and bugs, and posters were just really getting into the whole thing.  Some may not have found it funny, but I thought it was hilarious and I enjoyed it thoroughly!

It was Colliemom who started the thread.  She was upset about the new board and I posted that I hated Lima beans - then it took off from there. Woman LOL

You're right!  That was so funny, that one post about lima beans could lead to where that thread went!  It wound up 16 pages and 310 replies, and I just found it on page 4 of the Community Chat listings.  Maybe somebody needs to restart that thing! Happy smiley animated emoticon

There are a couple of interesting threads up right now which have many insightful replies.  Either of them could, might I say would, have turned on the old board.

Here are the stats as of this minute:

I show 30 topics on the first page of Chat (on my iPad).

14 of those topics show 6 to 10 pages plus of replies.

This has already become an active board people are enjoying.

I think people really like to exaggerate to make us think the boards are so boring, etc.  Someone on another thread said every other thread on QTalk's first page is closed.  In reality, I counted 40 threads on my first page and only THREE are closed for commenting.

There is one other one where the last post showing is from the Social Team - but it's not closed.  She was just restoring a nice post that got taken down as "collateral damage" because the poster was responding to the one deleted.  Just because the last post on a thread is from a Social Team member doesn't necessarily mean it's closed, but maybe some don't know this, or don't want to admit it.
