OMG - that was like Amateur Hour. I sat there shaking my head at all the praise coming out of the judges' mouths. Only Caleb and maybe one or two others (I like Preston's artistry) are worth anything IMO.

Sorry, but I don't see the "Caleb" thing. I guess I just don't like screaming rock 'n roll.

I don't like screaming rock and roll either Ford. Not a matter of what type of music I like, it's just my opinion as far as his talent over the others, a lot of whom cannot sing at all.

Well, I tuned in late and didn't hear many of the others. I did like the youngish looking dark-haired boy who played a guitar and sang. He has a soothing voice and is very easy to listen to.

Ford1224, I think his name is Sam Woolf and DH voted for him. But we also like Caleb a lot too out of the whole group. Kind of reminds us of a young Meatloaf.

I have seen almost every season with the exception of Season 4 and 5 and IMO, this is the worst group. It's actually boring and I end up falling asleep through part of it.

I haven't watch it in several years . . . the years they had those very odd judges. I thought I could watch it this year because I really like the judges. I may have to wait though, until they weed the group out a little more because I can't follow who's who.

OK, then I know I like Sam Woolf so far. Thanks HisElk!!

Interesting, the night of the performances there was something wrong with the sound and Caleb was one of the few that sang on-key. He has a big voice and I look forward to hearing him on some classic rock ballads, personally I think he's going to win quite easily........

Interesting that people think Caleb is screaming.....Rock is rock...it takes a big powerful voice to pull it off...he's got it...I really like him and hope to see more of him...he is not a screamer he's a rocker. :-)

I probably won't watch much of it, I am not that vested in who wins. Like the girl who sang that was last year's winner? Never heard of her. (Guess because I didn't watch, LOL.)

I think Caleb is good for a rocker....he also reminds me of Jack Black when Jacks hair was long.Im just not thinking any of them really stand out like American Idols of past seasons. Also it seems as though they sounded better earlier on, but now nerves have gotten the better of them ? Don't know.

caleb was very good......and definitely has potential. i also like the two guys who were country singers, and i am not even that big of a country fan. the one guy who sang ring of fire was good also, but it WAS kind of fast as randy stated.

The talent this season leaves a lot to be desired. No way can I believe that out of hundreds of thousands who auditioned that this group was the best the judges found.
