What a shock.  I hadn't heard he was sick.  All we can do is donate to cancer research until cures are found.  I do think it will happen.

I just saw the tribute and he just turned 66 and my birthday is in December as well and just turned 67.  Year younger than me and sure makes me sad.  I can't imagine.

Cancer is so unpredictable.

So sorry to hear this.  He seemed like such a nice person when I use to see some of his shows.  I continue to hope and pray that a cure is found.

Pancreatic cancer is awful and so hard to detect.

My condolences to all those who loved Nick Chavez.

My Uncle died of pancreatic cancer and a couple years later, his son, my cousin also died of pancreatic cancer.

I watched the tribute at the end of Vanessa's show last night. He was such a gentle soul and spirit.

May he rest in peace, and may his family be comforted in their time of grief.

Although I didn't use his products, I always enjoyed his presentations.  He seemed like such a kind, genuine person.  Rest in peace, Nick.  Heart

So sad. He was a really unique guy. I thought he had a survivable cancer when seeing him back on the Q sounding so positive. No idea it was pancreatic.

Unless it's detected very early, which is almost impossible, almost 95% will not survive. Treatment and Whipple surgery may extend days, or maybe even a few years, but that's the best we have right now.

My SIL fought the battle, but lost, and his was early detected. What he went through was unimaginable, We must have more research in managing this vicious cancer. It's taking out far too many.

RIP Nick
