It's open window all day weather here in Piedmont NC!  Gorgeous!  Great to give the home a good airing out.

Hope this clear weather continues for a while so the folks a little S/E of us can dry out.  The Majority of their flooding came from rivers overrunning banks (lots of down run from unusual, for this time of year, rain in the Piedmont, over topping dams + storm surge at high tide.  They are STILL struggling.

This is a 75 year flood for them.

@Drythe, this reminds me so much of "Sandy", many inland areas were badly affected, rivers, lakes, streams, extreme flooding.

I like the seasons and when they go nuts it bothers me, I spent an hour at my Dads no AC  (his central air was turned off Oct 5) or open windows, I am now fighting a killer headache as a result. 

I will be thrilled when it goes back to 60 degrees and lower humidity.

We live in one of Chicago's near western suburbs and our 9 year old grandson had a baseball game under the lights.  No umbrella, no raincoat, no blanket, no jacket required.  A perfect evening - feels like June not mid-0ctober which is usually dismal.  By the way they won - Fall ball over next weekend.  Weather is undoubtably changing.  Love watching kids interact as a team for the love of the game.

If you are on FB, you know that FB often pulls up memories from the same day but a prior year.  When I logged into FB last night, it pulled up a memory/photo from October 17, 2015.  It was a picture of me, bundled up in a winter coat, gloves and boots, sitting around a fire.  It was that cold on this same date last year. 

Cracked me up because I was looking at FB and saw that photo as I was sitting on my back deck in a short sleeve t-shirt and capri yoga pants.  LOL

It's in the mid 80's here today in PA and it's going to be 80 some tomorrow yet too before cooling down again, (as it was last week). I enjoy the warmer weather the most. The further from Winter weather, the better! lol.
