We're on Daylight Savings Time eight months a year.  Why not switch permanently to DST??  Smiley Happy

I have SAD so for me DST is very much welcome.  From late September to the middle of February, I have lights on in my home in every room as soon as the shadows of sunset appear.  I look forward to more light, Spring, flowers and the bright months.

You do lose an hour out of the day on the day the clock moves ahead because you change the time ahead.  And you do gain an hour when you change the clocks backwards.

But that is only 1 day.  I'm not sure why people think they are losing an hour of sleep for all the months the time moved forward and gained an hour for all the months the time moved back.

Regardless for every other day, there are 24 hours in the day.  LOL

Good-bye extra hour of sleep.

Plus, don't forget to change out the batteries in your smoke detector, too.

More daylight, less night.

Good reminder!
