Yay! I'm in upstate NY. We'll be watching today's [partial] eclipse from our backyard, and we'll do the same for the totality in 7 years! :-)

It's interesting that the totality will be in Carbondale, IL today and in 2024.

I'm a little bummed. I figured since we were in 90% totality it would have gotten darker here. I have been watcing on The Weather Channel & online at Nasa.gov

From what I can determine the path of totality passes over Buffalo NY where my younger daughter and her family live. I'll be almost 90, but if DH and I are healthy, we will be there.
