News headlines

I use Yahoo as my home page and have it set up to display news headlines from a couple different sources. This morning, under "Yahoo Latest News & Headlines," there are 10 headlines.

2 - people dying or being killed in other countries

1 - bankruptcy judge okays sale of Twinkies

1 - a young man just sentenced to life for killing fellow students

1 - the girl in Pakistan who was shot starts an English school

1 - former OR gov charged with stock fraud

1 - searching for guns on an Indiana college campus

1 - Rand and immigration

1 - gun permit applications surge in Newtown

1 - paintings stolen by Nazis returned to an American

And not 1 headline in the top 10 mentions the fact that SEVEN United States Marines were killed in Nevada from a mortar explosion.

That's my rant for the day.
