It's 80 degrees right now and supposed to hit a new record in the 30s tonight!

That's Florida!

I'm looking out my window at the snow on the tree boughs in my backyard in Wisconsin.  Just enough snow to be pretty.

@Zhills What part of Florida are you in? We are in Naples and we will only have a low tonight of 72. But starting tom., high of 75 and a low of 44. As for me, after the brutally hot Summer we had here, I welcome the cool or even cold weather. Truth be told, I miss the change of seasons and hoping the real estate market picks back up soon as I'm hoping this was my last Summer here. The locals here keep saying, "you will get used to it" but this was my second Summer here and I haven't yet, and not sure I want to.

@KittySoftPaws  I hear ya!  We lived in Henderson, NV outside of Vegas for 13 years and I NEVER got used to the climate.  It was great November -  April but the sun even in those months was so intense I hated it.

Moved to Chicago--originally from NYC--so the climate here is much more to my liking.  Winters have been relatively mild with very little snow which I also hate--LOL!!

I love the change of seasons and FL would be one of the very last places I would move to for many reasons!!

I have been in Florida for 30 years and I don't think I will ever get used to it.  From the midwest originally.  I miss winter but my daughter and her family are here so I will stay.

We had record heat last week and tomorrow night our cold weather shelters are opening up.  I am looking forward to winter.  This past summer was brutal.

@KittySoftPaws   I temporarily lived in Palm Coast Florida for 2 years taking care of parents many years ago...Although it was a beautiful community at the time, I never adjusted to the heat. Christmas at the beach just didn't feel right to me since I have lived my entire life in Pa.  When I got my first teaching position, I couldn't wait to move back.  I need and love the change of seasons....especially Fall.   Guess I am one of those people that just didn't get used to the hot climate.  🤷🏻‍♀️
