New Year’s Eve in Lancaster or Cape May?

DH and I have been going to our neighbor’s house for New Year’s for 40 years. She just told us that she’s going to Florida with her son and his family for Christmas and New Year’s. She was heartbroken when she told me, but I totally understand.

Now DH and I have to make other plans. We’re thinking of going somewhere, i.e., Lancaster or Cape May. Has anyone spent New Year’s at either of these places? Can you tell me about it?
