Never got above zero.

It's 4:30 PM in north Oxnard, CA (southern Calif) and it's 61 degrees. Today's high was 69 - and low will be 49. I'm layered up - in my house. Wearing jeans - and a stretchy long-sleeve top (bought from QVC around 8 yrs ago), a warm cotton pullover sweater over it -- and a long down vest over that. I'm usually cold. I can't imagine living where it's less than 40 degrees although I grew up in New York - but I was much younger.

2 years ago, my best friend Brenda passed away. We were friends for 33 years. It began when she drove out to Calif. from Grundy Center, IA - and she saw my ad in the newspaper looking for a roommate. I grew up in NYC/Brooklyn --- and we were complete opposites. She was from the farm and I was from the big city; she was tall and I am short; she never got to the point when saying something - I'm more direct. She was 14 yrs younger than me. As time and life went on --- we became a little more similar - and very loyal friends. She later asked me what I thought of her being from Iowa, and I said, "I only know NY and Calif."

Zero degrees this morning near Danbury, CT. Warmed up during the day to about 14, now  7.

Just four months ago, the weather was so hot and humid, and l was complaining about how uncomfortable and oppressive it was. I would gladly take that now, lol.

Now I can't wait for summer, and l'm not going to complain about the heat any more!

20 here in Northern Va and down to 9 tonight!  It's been very cold for days.

Normally, we'll have a few cold days and then it pops back up to 40's and 50's.

This is downright crazy.  Ugh!  I hate it.

If this keeps up I should just move to Denver!  Ha!

Just looked and cold all week until NEXT Monday and then it pops up to 44....a downright heat wave!

It was 16° at my house near Albuquerque this morning but warmed up to 56° thus afternoon.
