I don't understand that and I've been shopping with Amazon since forever.  If you buy from third party sellers, some of them do use  Usps or FedEx or DHL.  I always use Prime and all of my Amazon deliveries are delivered by Amazon.  Sometimes I'll get two things delivered in a day and they both arrive on Amazon trucks.

They're always in the midst of some kind of dilemma so that means

you can wait at least couple of days.  sometimes it never moves at all and you have to contact QVC to issue a refund. It's at the post office, yes, but, it's not moving. Somebody is using the box for a lunch stand or to put their pc on or something.

That wouldn't make any sense at all.  In large cities usps would never be able to handle Amazon deliveries.  We're talking thousands of deliveries a day in cities and large towns.  I was wondering if she lives in a small rural off the beaten path town.

Just recently I ordered from Amazon and I even selected a 2 day delivery instead of one day Prime so both orders would arrive at the same time and in the same box as they recommended, but that didnt happen!!!!  I got one order delivered by Amazon the next day on Sunday --fulfilling the Prime 1 day delivery, but the other order was sent separtately and was delayed for 3 days.....well at least it was delivered to my front door instead of our condo mail center so I guess I should be happy for the "small things" in life! 🙄.......

My orders are delivered by different carriers. I know when something is delivered by Amazon because I get a picture of the package and it shows where the package was left.

I've been getting many, not all, of my Amazon deliveries by their own delivery service for some time now.

Over all, it's been great.  Early on, before I lost my Rupert and was still getting 30# bags of dog food each month, they did leave that package (also w/10# of bird stuff, etc, so it weighed 45#), at the end of my driveway.  My driveway is the length of three cars, so it was a long way from the house for somebody weak like me.

 I cannot carry something that heavy so I had to push it all the way to the house, up the porch, and inside.  That was brutal.  Knowing how good their cs always has been, I called and asked if they can do directions like you can do on your other carrier accounts (UPS, etc).

It was no problem to have instructions that parcels come to the porch and ever since it's been perfect.  I also fill out that 'was your delivery great' thing each time so the drivers can know, hopefully, that their work is appreciated.

I also like that, with Amazon delivery service, you get an email denoting delivery AND showing a picture of the parcel on your porch.  That helped me one time, a long time ago, when they delivered to my neighbor's house.  Fortunately, I recognized their porch and was able to go over there and get it.

We receive Amazon packages from USPS/UPS/Amazon, and occasionally from FedX. Not much has changed where we live, however!

Amazon built a huge building about 3 miles from out home. It was finished well over a year ago, but! No cars in their parking lot, or trucks at their many, many truck docks. Why? Nobody around here seems to know. Strange to me.

My amazon orders are delivered by them all--usps, ups , amazon, fed ex and even dhl

In my neighborhood, Amazon trucks are more common than UPS trucks.  It really is remarkable.

The Amazon trucks have been zipping around here (NOLA suburbs) making their own deliveries for quite some time now.  But I think that we also occasionally may get an Amazon order delivered by UPS.
