Doctors and chiropracters are discovering that people who continually text are developing ailments that can last a lifetime. People who hunch over to text are experiencing headaches, pain in shoulders, and neck strain. The curving of the body to perform tasks on electronic gadgets is causing severe pressure on the spine and debilitating pain that is not likely to go away.
Doctors are recommending that you learn to look straight ahead and hold your arms out, which will seem awkward at first but will save your neck and spine. Patients are asked to pull their shoulder blades back and down.
For Android users, there is a new app called Text Neck which gives users a green light when they are holding their phones properly and a red light when they are using improper form.
