New Email Notification for Returns

Forgive me if this is redundant, yesterday morning I returned an item to the Q using their prepaid label. By last night I received an email "Your return is on it's way to QVC" with a link to track the package.
I used to go to my orders and wait until something showed up onthe tracking but now I know immediately the return is in the system.

Re: New Email Notification for Returns

That's a good thing! Usually I just punch the tracking number in, on the USPS website, and sign up for emails whenever there is scanning. But that's a good thing for QVC to do so you can hang on to it and keep track in the same manner.

Re: New Email Notification for Returns

That must be new; I returned something a couple of weeks ago and didn't get an email like that. All I got was the "we have received your return" email, along with the info that it will be credited to my card in "one or two billing cycles".

Re: New Email Notification for Returns

I had the same thing happen with an Amazon return recently.

Sounds like he shipper (UPS or USPS) must notify the Q and Amazon as soon as they get the return pkg to send back.

Within 24 hrs. of UPS picking up my return pkg, Amazon not only emailed me that they were notified my return had been shipped back to them, they gave me my refund as soon as that happened. They didn't wait until they actually rec'd it.

Nice.

Re: New Email Notification for Returns

I took a QVC return to the P.O. on Feb. 3 and also received the email from QVC saying my return was on its way. However, upon checking this morning, Feb. 9, the package is still at the P.O. So nothing has changed. My last return was at the P.O. 2 weeks before it started on its way. I contacted Customer Service about that return and was told to wait. HSN always acknowledges a return is on its way and never takes more than a few days for them to receive it. Perhaps there are different levels of service available at the P.O. for returns and QVC has chosen the lowest available,

Re: New Email Notification for Returns

After my fiasco of still not receiving credit for two returns mailed more than two weeks ago, I won't be using their return label again.

One left the Post Office yesterday and still hasn't arrived. For $6.95, why can't they pick a service that delivers promptly?

Re: New Email Notification for Returns

I too have had return pkg.'s take 2-3 weeks to show returned using QVC labels. This would be refreshing to be able to track and know all is well and on the way back.

Re: New Email Notification for Returns

Still waiting for my package to leave the P.O. Can't believe it. I decided today----no more shopping therefore no more returns!
