@haddon9 Sounds like your daughter's dream job. It seems like all fashion "something" has at least 1 mean boss.
Your daughter still in the fashion business?

@Mz iMac No, She was there as a graphic designer. She now is her own boss and can work from home.
I feel that every young person should take on a some sort of job that is challenging. The thing that I didn't like is them not paying at all as an intern. I feel that that is taking advantage of young workers.

Well if she had anything to do with that Timothee Chalamat's cover I am not impressed.

I read some time ago about her promotion, but it appears Wintour will continue to have her talons out and firmly implanted. I stopped being much interested in the magazine some time ago thanks to Anna's influences, though I do still occasionally pick up the big September issue. Would like to see fewer celebrities and more focus on fashions modeled by, well, models. As far as I'm concerned, Conde Nast has given Wintour way too much of a role.

I think the last time I bought an issue of Vogue, Linda Evangelista was on the cover.

People are getting Vogue for free? And I can't stop/cancel my subscription to Vanity Fair, it seems.
I was so happy when I was notified by Chase that my Visa had been hacked. Yes! First thing I thought was, good no more auto -renewal from VF.
But, no, somehow they latched on to my new cc number. Mind you EZPass didn't, Netflix didn't, but they did....
Their magazines are so thin now, doesn't take up any space in recycle....

Despite her claim that she always worked harder because of her famous parents the fact of the matter is if you go through the school system in Beverly Hills (because you lived there your entire life) you know everyone who's influential; the parents and grandparents of her friends.

It also helps that her last name is of a famous director. I am sure if Spielberg's or Coppola's children applied for a job they would get preferential treatment.
