I have ordered this also. Until then I just always used my old land line princess phones and never wanted to buy one of those others, but when I heard them talk about the call block button, I immediately ordered it.
Have already blocked a number of calls. Love it and it works great. The other thing it seems to have eliminated all the static I had before especially when calling Europe.
You can also get it on QVC.

Clem: I had seen these phones but I did not need or want a new phone nor did I need three hand sets. What I ordered was one little box, very small, that sits next to your phone and plugs in and takes care of everything. I did not have to order anything else.

Thanks for posting this thread. I think it looks like a product I might buy.

I have to look into something, while I don't answer these calls,I just hate hearing the phone ring.

We don't have a landline anymore. It was pointless.

Mistic: Please let me know how you like it. My DH and I cannot believe how quiet the phone is. No more fake calls, robo calls, charity calls, etc. Our house is so quite it is kind of wierd, in a very good way.
Mistic: I forgot to mention something. When I first connected this, the caller ID on my phone disappeared, all calls said "incoming" In the box is a little plastic do hickey, which is a splitter. I had no clue what the heck this was so I called CS (Kevin usually answers) and he told me how connect the wire to this and then to the phone (so easy, a 4 year old can do it, and believe me I am very technically challenged). It took two seconds and immediately all incoming calls show who is calling. So don't panic, if they do not answer right away, leave a message and they will call you back, or you will probably figure it out for yourself. Let me know!!!

@CLEM Can you tell me how the call blocker works on these phones? Do you have to answer the phone in order to block the call or can it be done in other ways? The device from HSN requires one to answer the call first before it can be blocked. I don't want to answer the call (which alerts scammers that it's a good number). Thanks.

OP, So happy you found a solution to those pesky calls, always at the most inopportune time and so relentless. Two years ago I was forced to block a call from a person sinking into psychosis. AT&T charged me $10.00 per month to block this one caller. At that time, there was no alternative. After seeing the HSN product I searched Amazon and found the perfect model for me. There are several ranging from $39 - $200 . I chose an $80 model by CPR Global called Call Blocker of all things, and I couldn't be happier with it. ( can't believe, after months of being off grid, phone off the hook, because the constant ringing set my nerves on end, that a simple cost effective solution was readily available )
When unwanted, previously blocked calls come in, the system allows one ring on a distant extension, not the main line, and then hangs up on the caller. At first an annoying , disappointing feature, I've since come to love the sound of a distant ring then silence. It reassures me dthe call blocker is working and serves the marketers justice. When a new solicitor calls, I pick up the call because I like to hear the system hang up on them a second after I push the big red button.
The only problem I've found is that someone calling from "Anonymous" evades the call blocker. I hope there are instructions somewhere that tell me how to program in "Anonymous" too. I understand that some of the more limited but preprogrammed call blockers already have "Anonymous" on their list.
The paid harassers with a local company have learned to switch caller ID's after several of their calls are blocked. Wonder how clever these monsters will become ?
