That's nice for you, but nomorobo is not available everywhere. I've been checking on it for a couple of years & still can't get it.
Supposedly it is in my area but I have my phone through TimeWarner Cable. I went through the entire set-up process but one of the icons I am supposed to press to complete this doesn't show up for me. It will only show up to CS if they pull up my account. And they aren't allowed to do this for me.
I have Time Warner as well, and was not able to complete the process.
We have Time Warner also but had no trouble getting nomorobo. It works like a dream. It should be made available to everyone.

Thank You for your rerview on this product. I have been looking at it for a couple of weeks now. The calls drive me crazy. THANKS!!!
You are very welcome. I just wanted to be of help. If you do get it, let me know how it works out for you. My household has never been so quiet. At first I could not wait to get these crank calls so I could push that red button, it is very therapeutic (sp?).
I watched the video on this again tonight. I bought it. Free Shipping. I absolutely love the fact that you don't even have to hit the red button if you are not in the same room. You can hit #2 from your phone to block too! I can't wait to hook this baby up!
Oh that #2 feature is great! A lot of times I have the phone outside in the garden or my DH has it in his office and bingo! Smack that #2 and they are history!!!

You don't call anyone to set this up, no fees, nothing. All you get is a small box, plug it into your phone and the jack on the wall and that is it. The problem is solved once and for all.
I don't know what everyone is going on about nomorobo (have no clue what that is). But this is not it. I also have Time Warner and there is no problem whatsoever. I have not recieved one phony call since I received this a few days ago. It showed I blocked out 8 calls so far, and they have not called back. If you take the time to read the reviews you will see what I am talking about.
Please don't be sorry! I'm learning a lot that I didn't know about phone service/robo calls because you DID start this thread!

I have Time Warner and was able to complete the process.
I went back last night to check again and was able to complete the process. Previously, the Answer Anywhere icon that you need to click to complete the process, didn't show up. We'll see if this helps.
I have blocked numbers through TWC but you have to manually input the numbers to have them blocked. These companies just get new numbers when the old ones get blocked so it's a viscious circle. Hopefully this works.

We used to have Cablevision for our phone service and they had VIP ringing which was nice. If it wasn't the special ring, I knew I didn't have to get up to see who was calling.
I missed that when we switched over to Fios.
I had signed up for Nomorobo a while ago and just never completed the process.
Today, I decided I was going to give it a try and when I went into our Fios services to complete the final step I also noticed that we now have the option to manually add numbers to block also.
So far today I only got one robo call and the nomorobo did work.
Wonder how it knows it's a robo call...

Don't be sorry, many of us never heard of that device, it is good to have some options to get rid of the unwanted callers!! Thank you!
