Since we can't add links, Google 'Neiman Marcus Gourmet Food'

for their holiday prepared meals.

Goodness..$$$$$$

Here are a couple samples of their choices.

$85 Vegetarian Cornbread Dressing &

$66 Collard Greens.

I know Neiman Marcus definitely has a particular demographic 

but with all the 5-star restaurants in a large city, I would 

order/cater through them versus Neiman's.   

I'm sure it's tasty, but the $$$$ is so....'Neiman Marcus!!!'

I'm not tempted at all. I don't like cornbread dressing, and collards are easy to make. Dressing isn't hard either. It probably doesn't taste any better than something you make yourself

Ack!  $66 for collard greens.  There are perhaps $5 worth of ingredients in this dish.

Just wanted to add that last month, I had to throw together a lunch in an area I was traveling to.  I went online to Whole Foods (and I see there is a thread about them on this board)...and was able to preorder a selection of catered foods for 10 people for about $150    The food was ready when I arrived and the quality was very good.

I'm sure a local restaurant would have something just as good.
