Re: Neil Cavuto - back next week!

Want to add my welcome back to Neil Cavuto.  He and Janice Dean have amazing expertise, determination and senses of humor.

Did a search re:  Phillip Watson of Cottage Farms. Found a FB page, and he appears to be doing very well.  Will be looking for him on The Q in January or February to pull me out of the winter doldrums, as he always does!

Glad to read that Phillip is doing well.  I always think of him when I look at my gorgeous hydrangeas I purchased years ago from Cottage Farms.  He is always so fun to watch and listen to.

Thanks!

He is so cool ... love his intellect and his humor.  I knew about his MS and heart, but didn't know about the CA.  He's had quite a rough go of it, but you would never have known it.  Really looking forward to his return.

I didn't know about the wheelchair - thought only Charles Krauthammer.  And as for Janice Dean, she's a real charmer.  Heart

Ms traditional, Thanks so much for letting us know about Neil Cavuto coming back to Fox News - looking forward to seeing him again!  With all the health challenges Mr. Cavuto has faced throughout the years, he has always been the consummate professional.  And he has a great sense of humor to boot!

Re: Neil Cavuto - back next week!

I am so happy to hear that Neil will be back.  When I can, I do watch his shows.  He has had many Fox hosts fill in for him.  He also does a show on Saturdays.  I enjoy his personality and his humor!  I don't always enjoy his guests - like Charlie Gasperino. Neil allows him to interrupt and talk too much.

I've seen Neil walking around on the air.  Charles Krauthammer is in a wheelchair, but he is paralyzed from an accident when he was young.  I'll have to google that about Neil.

I didn't realize he was/might be in a chair now either.

Perhaps he is only part of the time. Maybe he walks when he can or feels like it and maybe there are times he feels the need of a chair.

One can have MS and still not be in a chair.  My brother has weakness in his arms and legs with this problem but so far and after many years, he hasn't had the need for a chair; he does now use a cane.  Hopefully neither Neil or my brother will advance to that stage where a wheel chair is necessary as there are different degrees of this illness..

@HiLo- I don't think Neil is in a wheelchair.  In an interview he stated that he has periods of fatigue and muscular weakness which is what MS is and does and his legs "give out".  He has a long day...I think he starts prepping 5:30-6 in the am and leaves for home after his show.  He also stated his main problem is sudden loss of vision and can't read the TelePrompTer so he prepares very well and commits the script to memory.  I think Neil is a great spokesperson and role model for the dreadful disease.

Neil is surely a great spokesperson for MS.  People with this disease need all the encouragement they can get.  Have lost 3 friends due to this horrible disease but that doesn't always happen.  Many can live out an entire lifespan in spite of their disabilities.
