Ok here is the situation. My best freind and I live over 330 miles apart and have decided we want to make another trip to Disney before we die. We had such a great trip before. We are 60 plus so we aren't spring chickens but we love Disney and have a great time.My friend still works and on swing shifts. It is hard to talk to her as I never know when she is sleeping and her husband doesn't like her talking on the phone. She has to talk when he isn't around.When I ask her about the trip she said it was a go. I booked rooms, air etc. I always book rooms seperate for Disney if we cancel no charge or make any changes. it's been almost 2 months and she hasn't paid me any money.I did send her all the charges and her portion for the trip. We haven't gotten our park tickets yet. I have kindly ask her to please give me a little something as I want to pay my AE bill down. The room charge doesn't bother me as I can get my money back but the air I am out. I can't use the ticket or no one else can either. it must be her only. It is thru Southwest we do have a year to use.This trip is in April not very far away. I left her a message on her cell I really needed to have alittle something to help pay for trip and to call me. That has been 3 days ago, no call. I hate asking her for money as I feel if a person owes you money they know they do so why hound them.I am retired but I work part-time I am not rich either. So how would you handle this?
