ACA is not gone. Open Enrollment is over with but OP sounds like she has a qualifying event to enroll. Loss of coverage, birth, death, marriage....you have 60 days to enroll after qualifying event.
@NativeJax NJ-you are absolutely correct with your info!
The amount of misinformation and spin on this board can be mind boggling.

@NativeJax....I looked into HSA in my county and there was nothing available, that is why I am looking at the MediShare program. I am surprised that HSA's are not available everywhere. Like a lot of people I cannot sustain my health care premium and knowing it will increase next year I need to do something soon.

I was the one telling her to look into the ACA - Nutmeg is the one who said the ACA was gone. If you are going to correct someone , correct the proper person.

I know someone who is self employed who told me his Obamacare coverage only costs him $45/month. None of us know what may be coming in the future with insurance, but for now at least this is available.
The ACA is gone. The last sign up date was January 31, 2017. There is a lot of information about health insurance going forward online.
@Nuttmeg, no it's not gone yet. There is no new legislation that has passed both houses. Perhaps you mean yearly enrollment. It will take some time for new legislation to be implemented, nevertheless.

@Nuttmeg, I'm glad we straightened that out because it isn't gone as you stated earlier.
