Re: Need Really Good Hand Cream

I have been using NIVEA and it works well and is not greasy and penetrates well.

i agree with the Bag Balm. My dermatologist recommends it but it must be part of a two-part remedy. You need the heavy-duty for overnight work like the Bag Balm but it is too greasy for daytime. The lighter hand creams will not do the job alone for serious dry skin. So heavy for night and a good light one for day. I've had great luck with the l'Occitane shea butter.

Exactly. Which is why I use O'Keefe's during the day and the 100% African  Shea Butter only at night.  It would be unmanageable during the day, but it's the best stuff!

Like Big SIster said works well, not greasy and penetrates well.

Nivea is wonderful and we also use it.

I love Neutrogena.  It's a little greasy but I add a tiny bit of water to it.  I also love O'Keefe's Working Hands.  I didn't realize it came in a tube now.  I looked for the regular stuff a couple of weeks ago and couldn't find it anywhere as the shelves were always empty.

It still comes in the jar too.  In fact, I haven't seen the tube yet.

You probably won't get his suggestion .....BAG BALM - originally created for cow's udders!   Google it - it's on Amazon,  drug stores and zillions of other places.

Also, "Udderly Smooth".

Same great concept and origin.  8)
