@Jordan2  That is such sad news about little Blake- he has the love and prayers from you, his friends, family and all of us. I tear up every time I see a Saint Jude's commercial- the children are so strong and still have such a sense of wonder and playfulness to them, even when facing adversity. I hope and pray that little Blake can be a miracle and that he can overcome this difficult time. I pray that he has moments of brightness and laughter and that the outpouring of love and encouragement can embolden him to continue to put up a brave fight against these brain tumors. God bless, Blake. 🙏💗

I will be praying for Blake. It's always so hard when it's a child. I will pray for his parents and wisdom for the doctors, too.

This may upset some people, but, it is my thoughts on brain tumors. They are not curable. My son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor years ago. We sought treatment at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Tx.
Over a period of 6 1/2 years, he endured radiation, chemo and 4 brain surgeries. We had been told that if he survived 5 years, he would be in the clear. And, to be fair, he had been doing well considering the after effects of the radiation, which left him with some mobility problems , until going into the 6th year since diagnosis. Then the cancer came back with a vengeance! He died a month after getting this news.
Brain tumors are very hard to treat as the brain has what is called "brain blood barrier" - basically it means the brain protects itself and getting chemo to the area is blocked by this protective barrier. That's why it is a mystery how cancerous tumors originate in the brain.

Prayers for Blake and his family.  It is hard to cope with a cancer diagnosis where there are limited options.

I work in a school and just found out a sweet six year boy named Blake I see everyday has inoperable cancerous brain tumors. I cried when I found out, it isn't looking good, his parents are remaining hopeful. We took up a collection to help the family in some small way. Please if you can say a pray for Blake and keep good thoughts for him, thanks.

I will pray for little Blake for sure.

My daughter in law received the news of a brain tumor cancerous when she was 19 and a week before her wedding to my son.  The wedding was cancelled .   She had all the treatments for months.

She went on to live a good life and they eventually got married.

Today she is 60, but has Alzheimers, but did well until a couple of years ago.

I mention this because, there is hope. I hope all the prayers will help little Blake and the family.  There is hope.

@Sapphiregal I am so sorry for the loss of your son and all you had to endure. I'm not close to the family, I don't what sort of treatment the parents are taking. Blake of course hasn't returned to school, I have asked about him, but either no one knows or are not saying how he is.

@Jordan2 - I will certainly pray for Blake, his family, and his doctors. How nice of you and your coworkers to care so much about helping this family financially.

@Sapphiregal - I am so sorry for what you went through. My mom and I went through something similar with my brother, and she never was the same again. Neither am I. I know your surviving loved ones give you comfort.
