Re: Need Opinion Concerning Sears

I have purchased many appliances from Sears and they have been wonderful to do business with. At this moment I have a dish washer and SamSung refrigerator that they delivered and installed. The people who work in our local Sears store are so help full and kind they wait on you if you call the store always get a call back from them. I would deal with them again as I have in the last 40 years .

Sears repairs and installations are handled by people in your area. When we were renting a few years back our Kenmore wall oven wouldn't heat and they sent a local company to replace the coil or something like that.

Re: Need Opinion Concerning Sears

I've bought appliances from Sears, and had local contractors deliver them and set them up. I was happy with their services. They took away the old units (your choice) and cleaned up and took away all the packing materials.

I'm guessing the electronics installers would do the same?

Re: Need Opinion Concerning Sears

Sears is the first place I think of for appliances. Never had any issues with them. I have also bought two Samsung tvs from them, one for a bedroom and one for the kitchen and am planning on buying a big Samsung tv for my living room from them. I also bought a Samsung tablet there for a Christmas present. Never had any issues with Sears.

Terrier3,

We need them to hook up the cable box, the dvr player and set the remote. I think that we could do it, but DH doesn't want to take the chance of it being delivered and then not being able to hook something up. Silly I know, but that's how he is.

Thanks to all of you for your opinions.

Judy

The cable company should be able to hook it up for you. I doubt Sears hooks up TVs to cables, etc. Too much liability involved.

Re: Need Opinion Concerning Sears

Sears does a great job on installing and maintainence - the guarantee will come from LG. We just bought a 47" LG for our home so we could take our 37" up to camp. It seems fine, DH loves it - i am not a fan of how large screens stretch everything and make everyone seem fat.
