We finally decided on what 47" LED TV to buy. It is an LG. I called Best Buy, and they are completely out of the model. They don't know when they will get any more in. I looked at Sears, and they have it in stock. I'm wondering about buying it from Sears, and if Sears delivery and installation is good to use. We cannot pick up the TV (too heavy and too big for car), and we don't feel comfortable about connecting everything. I know that it is probably easy, but my husband refuses to try to hook it up. He is so not good at that sort of thing.
Thanks for your help.

We use Sears to maintain our appliances. I had them install a new dishwasher and range about a year ago. They do a good job, but have them give you their installation prices before they come out. The installation for our two appliances was outrageous.
Apparently the installation price depends on where you live. We don't have many options here, so they can charge whatever they want.

What do you need to connect?
I did it, and I'm not very handy at all!

We've used Sears several times to maintain or install appliances. We've always had great experiences with them.

Do you have an HHGreg?
I went to Sears looking for appliances in November and wasn't approached by one single solitary sales person . . . walked out and spent my thousands of $$$ elsewhere. They have fallen way down in recent years.

Terrier3,
We need them to hook up the cable box, the dvr player and set the remote. I think that we could do it, but DH doesn't want to take the chance of it being delivered and then not being able to hook something up. Silly I know, but that's how he is.
Thanks to all of you for your opinions.

It's easy to connect. Two of mine are LG's (AND THEY ARE THE BEST).....I hooked them up myself. In fact, I even hooked up my DVD/VHS recorder/player to one of my LG TV's and I'm not technically savvy at all. It should be easy for you, seriously.
I'm glad to hear you and your DH want an LG TV.....as I stated above, they are the best.

I have a Vizio (made by LG, but costs less).
The plugs are all clearly marked.

Just me but I would never buy another thing from Sears.
