Hi everyone,
We adopted a husky mix last October from a shelter. She was very upset when it became bathtime and tried to attack my husband at her first bath. She has gotten a lot better about them but we are afraid she was abused with water prior to us getting her.
We had never had her groomed since October just brushed and bathed her at home. Last Saturday I took her to the vet to get groomed. She did really well however yesterday I noticed that she has an irrated place on her skin and she has licked all of the hair off of it. I am taking her to the vet at 2 because it looks like a hot spot and I read online that they can spread.
Does anyone know what causes this?
Thanks,
Lisa
