Need Help Selecting a Reader to Buy!

I would like to purchase a reader tablet (I guess that's what they are called) but I don't know anything about them. My criteria for the one I want is pretty simple, I think. 1. Must be able to read in the sunlight 2. reasonably priced 3. can enlarge the font

I have done a bit of research and it looks like some of the readers are "attached" to certain booksellers like Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Is this useful?

Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated!
