I've had a MedicareAdvantage plan for 12 years. No problems.

@Magicrat not all Advantage plans are the same.

A supplement is a supplement no matter which company you go.  The difference between companies is the premium but the coverage is the same no matter which company issues the policy.

You can go to SSA.GOV.   You create an account and you can apply online.  If you are not computer savvy, you can go into your local SSA office.

Once your Medicare application is approved and you have your Medicare number, an online account can be set up at medicare.gov to access your Medicare information.

I couldn't remember signing up for Medicare and I just remembered why. I was getting survivors benefits and once I turned 65 I was automatically enrolled in Medicare. I received the Cards right after that and set up my online account.

@Susan Louise. Do you by chance have a local office - within a fair driving distance?  You can have an in person meeting, but I am pretty sure you need an appointment.
